Planning

When you need to get something accomplished, you sit down and come up with a plan. Whether it's a small project or a complete remodel, the most important part of any job is thinking it through. We've given you a few informational pages here that can help you through some of the planning stages. If you still have questions that you can't find answers to here on the website, please feel free to call us.

If you need to browse the planning resources we've provided, please use the links for Choosing a Kitchen Design That Meets Your Needs, Evaluate and Compare - Kitchen Countertops, FAQ, or Finishing.

At Shamrock, we take planning seriously too. We spend a considerable amount of time working on our ability to move your job through our shop. There is nothing more important than our commitment to you and that means doing the best job we can in the most efficient manner. We would feel negligent if this were not the case. So, with that in mind, we can give you a brief overview of how we move our product through our shop.

Before anything can happen, we must take delivery of the raw wood.   The wood is then placed in storage where it waits to be used.

As it is needed, the wood is sized and cut to each particular job requirement.   It then makes it's way through the shop. It goes through many stages to come out a finished project.

If the job requires it, it is then sent through the finishing department where it receives the paint or stain.   To keep this process moving along, the maintenance department keeps everything working so there are minimal downtimes.
